Every 3–4 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a condition that may be treated with a transplant, yet most patients do not have a match within their family. Despite having over 9 million registered donors, many patients—especially those from diverse backgrounds—still struggle to find a match.
National Marrow Donor Program, NMDP, is a global nonprofit leader in cell therapy, dedicated to saving the lives of patients with blood cancers and disorders. We connect patients in need of stem cell or marrow transplants with matching donors from our extensive national registry. NMDP works with partners worldwide to advance research, improve treatments, and remove barriers to care. Our mission remains constant: to save lives through cell therapy.
We’re excited to share how we’re accelerating progress, expanding access, and addressing critical challenges like health equity and quality of life for patients. Together, we can transform the future of cell therapy and offer hope to patients in need.
